Advising Students Abroad

Students must share email contact information with advisors for the period they are off campus. Advisors should make an attempt to stay in touch with advisees abroad, especially early in the semester regarding any course changes (add/drops) that arise, and during the registration period in order to approve courses the student wishes to select for the semester of his or her return to campus. While abroad, students receive email instructions from the Registrar’s Office on how to register online for the following semester. It is assumed that the advisor has reviewed and approved all course requests submitted by the student.
