Post Graduate Thomas J. Watson Fellowship
Advisers: Dr. Annette Lucas (Dean’s Office) and Dr. Melissa Hardin (Study Abroad)
The
Study Abroad Office coordinates the Watson Fellowship in conjunction
with the Office of the Dean. The Watson Fellowship gives college
graduates of unusual promise the freedom to engage in a year of
independent study and travel abroad following their graduation. The
WatsonFoundation provides a $25,000 grant to each Fellow. In addition,
the Fellowship Loan Program will supplement the grant with an amount
equal to 12-months’ payment of outstanding federally guaranteed student
loans. The grant will cover the Fellow’s living and travel expenses,
while the Loan Program eases the Fellow’s financial burden during their
Fellowship year. Visit the Ursinus Watson Facebook page and the official website of the Thomas J. Watson Foundation to learn more.
